LABOR DELIVERING FOR AGED CARE IN WATSON
A re-elected Albanese Labor Government will continue our commitment to deliver better aged care services, including in Western Sydney with a $10 million commitment for the Aman Advanced Aged Care Facility in Bankstown.
Federal Member for Watson Tony Burke MP has announced this election commitment today that will improve the capacity of culturally appropriate care for the community.
The first phase of the project will deliver a new High Care Residential Facility, with twenty rooms providing 24-hour nursing care for residents with advanced care needs. The second phase will integrate the existing Low Care Residential Facility, to allow for seamless transitions between care levels and to adapt to residents’ evolving health needs.
The Aman Advanced Aged Care Facility will provide seniors with dignified and culturally sensitive care.
Consistent with past practice, election commitments will be delivered in line with Commonwealth Grants Rules and Principles.
